Overview

Wekano Bitumen Primer is the engineered first step in protecting concrete. The high-quality, low-viscosity liquid penetrates concrete and cementitious surfaces to form a strong base layer that blocks moisture and improves adhesion of subsequent waterproofing layers such as membranes.

Application Guide

Surface preparation

The concrete surface must be fully clean, dry and free of dust, oil, grease or any material that could impair adhesion.

Mixing

Stir the pail well before use to ensure the bitumen components are homogeneous. The product is ready to use cold and needs no thinning.

Application

Apply with brush, roller or spray in a uniform layer that covers all pores and hairline cracks.
04

Drying

Allow the surface to dry completely before installing the next waterproofing layers (membranes) for the best adhesion.
