Overview
WF-6431 is a high-strength glass fiber mesh with a protective SBR coating against alkaline influences. The stable leno weave with a 6 × 6 mm aperture and 165 g/m² weight gives excellent mortar penetration and grip.
Supplied as a 20 cm wide strip, it is ideal for reinforcing joints between concrete frames and blockwork, around window and door corners and at crack repairs.

Application Guide

First layer
Apply the first coat of plaster or waterproofing material at a suitable thickness while it is still wet.

Embed the mesh
Lay the mesh over the wet layer and press it in with a trowel until the mortar comes through the openings.

Overlap
Overlap adjacent strips by at least 10 cm to avoid cracks at the joints.

Final layer
Apply the second and final coat directly over the mesh and smooth it until the mesh is fully covered.
