Overview
WF-4421 is a high-strength glass fiber mesh with a styrene-butadiene rubber coating that protects it against the alkalinity of cement. Its fine 4 × 4 mm tricot weave and 160 g/m² weight make it ideal for full-surface reinforcement of renders and waterproofing layers.
The full-width 100 cm roll covers large areas quickly, distributing stresses from thermal movement and preventing hairline and structural cracks.

Application Guide

First layer
Apply the first coat of plaster or waterproofing material at a suitable thickness while it is still wet.

Embed the mesh
Lay the mesh over the wet layer and press it in with a trowel until the mortar comes through the openings.

Overlap
Overlap adjacent strips by at least 10 cm to avoid cracks at the joints.

Final layer
Apply the second and final coat directly over the mesh and smooth it until the mesh is fully covered.
